The Herschel Supply = amazing!!!

I am on the look out for a simple but trendy backpack - for my travels in about 3weeks!! I have found this great company called The Herschel Supply. I love the look and feel, and the photography is amazing!! not sure if i can afford them though, will have to see ;) loving this style.

~ banana & pecan nut muffins ~

I'm so proud!!! 

This afternoon i attempted to bake banana & pecan nut muffins.....& I'm quite happy with how they turned out, as I'm not a big baker.  I will put up some more images and the recipe soon. 

{ NEW } - Mr Price Concept Store!!!!!

So last week the new Mr Price store concept was launched in Sandton. Wow, from what I've seen and heard it looks amazing!! My man Bryan, was lucky enough to tag along with the Wisdom & Youth ad agency to take some snaps of the store. (I havn't seen his images yet .... but I have found some images of the store via Elle magazine , go see their website for more). I wish I could have gone - I would have shopped up a storm @ Mr P & Zara though!!! 

I love the new concept design that Mr Price has gone for, I really think it suits the brand well.{read more about the new concept here }

The store has been designed by Award Winning Dalziel-Pow. They are a top Retail design company based in London; Mumbai & Shanghai. 

Some of their clients include: Topshop; River Island; Wrangler; Primark; Nokia; Gap & the list goes on.

I finally purchased a book, with my "Book Boutique" voucher I received for my birthday. I was unsure of what kind of book I should get, but when I noticed this lovely sitting there, I just had to get her. So excited to start my sewing, baking, herb growing ect....such a good buy. 

~ A Swedish Home {with a twist} ~

I have such a thing for Swedish homes & New York loft apartments - This is a good example!! Love the two different styles ( the raw brick work and exposed ceilings mixed with soft colour's and finishes) that were combined perfectly. The owners of the house are from Sweden, but the house is in Brooklyn. It is a really sweet and simple home. Read more on design sponge.
