So my bf - Bryan and his good mate have been flatmates for the past year.

They are about to move to a new flat next weekend. 

My brain has already been working on some cool ideas for the place.

It has great potential, with lovely parquet flooring and open plan living/dining.

These are just some ideas I put together quickly, not necessarily doing up the kitchen though (as they are just renting), but love some of these ideas, hope to put them to use one day (i love the bachelor pad / industrial look) .

2 weeks ago, we went up to Rosetta, to my friends family cottage.

Arrived Sat morning, and spent the day exploring Nottingham Road. 

First went to some animal farm, but not many animals in sight. We then went next door to Lavender Trout - which I just loved!! 

cute decor/furniture shop for the ladies ; animal farm & jungle gym for the kiddies; trout fishing for the men & awesome little restaurant/ coffee shop for the whole family. 

{ Bellevue Cafe }

Last Saturday we had to go to Hillcrest and on our way home we stoped for some brekkie at Bellevue Cafe in Kloof (in Bellevue Rd). Wow what a little gem of a place - loved it there. I think it was the facebrick wall as you enter the restaurant with that awesome signage - that got me! We also poped into FAT Tuesday (next door) - which has too many cool things to buy,i had to hold myself back.
