breakfast @ { Freedom Cafe }

On Saturday morning - I got to do something that I've been wanting to do for awhile now.

Which was....to have breakfast at the amazing Freedom Cafe (The design of this place is just too clever)  

& to go for a slow cycle along the Durban beach front (which I had never done), and I must say I was soooo impressed. It was a beautiful day, everyone was out and about, either surfing; skating; roller blading; running or cycling. I hardly saw any litter - the promenade was so lovely and clean. VERY impressed - I will def be visiting Durban beach front more often. 

The Good Luck Club

The talented couple who own wolves [in illove Jhb] - have opened a new spot called "The Good Luck Club", a cool little spot to go for lunch/dinner/drinks. I just love the interior! so simple and different. Love how Ange has put a few personal touches ie. the wallpaper.

day @ the farm ....

Last Saturday we attended a wedding in the Midlands (will post some pic's soon). We stayed at Bryan's aunt's farm, which is just so lovely and big with any animal you can think of : from a million dogs to tiny baby mice & lambs, to horses; miniature horses; parrots; chickens (baby chicks too); ducks; x1 donkey; x1 big pink pig; lots of sheep and even a crow!! (the list goes on) ... I love visiting them and being outdoors and away from the city life. So I just put a little collage together.

New home for { i heart market }

Oooo I have to try get to i heart market this weekend. They have moved to Moses Mabhida Stadium, which I think will be a great new venue. So go check it out too!!

....Sani Pass Snow.....

So I had a lovely weekend getaway to Sani Pass for my birthday this weekend :) ..... & I finally got to see some snow. ( you will see in the pics that the snow was only at the top of Sani) ...so all 10 friends were piled into one 4x4 & treked up the steep pass - was too awesome!!

{ Book Boutique }

Yesturday I was lucky enough to have the day off....so my bf and I decided to go visit a lovely local spot  called The Book Boutique which is situated in my hometown Amanzimtoti (KZN South Coast) - we got alot of talented peeps this side ;) . The Book Boutique is a family run bookshop / coffee shop - They have done a really great job in creating a beautiful relaxing place to just go chill and have a cup of coffee or something to nibble on. They have a awesome variety of books and if you ever need to find a gift for someone, they are def the place to go. So I took some pics for you to see....really love it there and recommend you Durban folk to take a drive down South and come support :)
